Coat great, pants a little tough to get in & out of

Sine the pants are not just plastic but also rubberized on the inside, found them difficult to get in & out of them; had to take my shoes off to even have a chance at getting them on. The zippers on the legs opens them up a little but not enough in my opinion. I was in my rain-free bedroom when I tried them on, but had I been on the side of the road in rain or even approaching rain, THAT would have been difficult & challenging. We can't always plan ahead for the time & place to jump into a rain suit. Not that they aren't well-made, because they seem solid, but again, if on the road, wearing BOOTS, even side-zip easy-off boots, in any sort of wind/rain (etc), I'm not sure getting myself & my wife into our rain gear would be a challenge we could accept. Also, the pants have suspenders built in, but if you put the coat on first as one might tend to do in rain, you can't put the suspenders on - you have to do the pants first. Thoughts: fully-opening lower pant legs; sturrup straps on the bottom removed in favor of one good (or even two) elastic band pieces on bottom, and /or make sturrup straps SNAP ON at least one side. While the suspenders ARE often a good idea, I would opt for a built-in BELT, either with added elastic or velcro like the integrated belt on the coat. Since I have not yet done a roadside on & off TEST, the jury is still out on an overall raingear test. Perhaps I'll be bak in a week or two with an update.
