The Dark Devil™ Motorcycle Canvas Shirt combines rugged canvas construction with added visibility and rider-focused protection. Crafted from durable black canvas, it features 2-inch grey Scotchlite reflective stripes on both sleeves for strong nighttime visibility. The classic button-down collar, YKK front zipper hidden under a snap placket, adjustable cuffs, and heavy-duty snaps give it a clean, dependable riding style. Inside, the soft paisley sublimated mesh lining adds comfort, while reinforced Kevlar layers in the sleeves and upper back provide extra protection where riders need it most. Two flap chest pockets, two slash pockets, and two interior pockets keep essentials close and secure. Adjustable across-back plates improve fit and movement during rides, and elbow armor pockets allow added protection. Finished with heavy-duty thread stitching and an inside hanging loop, the dark Devil™ is built for long-lasting wear, night rides, and everyday motorcycle use.

A really great heavy weight riding shirt/jacket. I love the snap sleeves and snap/zip up front. Lots of pockets for storing stuff too. Its my new favorite and I love the retro style! I expect to wear it a ton on the 2027 Motorcycle TransAmerican Endurance race from coast to coast!

I recently purchased this motorcycle riding shirt from Daniel Smart MFG and I couldn’t be happier with it. The shirt looks fantastic — sharp, stylish, and perfect for riding. The design is clean and professional, with high-quality materials that give it a premium feel right out of the box.
The construction is excellent. It’s clearly well-made with durable stitching, quality fabric, and thoughtful details that make it stand out from cheaper options. It feels substantial without being overly heavy, which is exactly what you want for long rides.
Sizing note: I normally wear X-Large shirts, but I ordered the XX-Large based on the size chart and I’m glad I did. The XX-Large fits me perfectly with just the right amount of room for comfort and layering, especially when wearing it over a base layer or under a jacket. No tightness in the shoulders or arms, and it stays in place nicely while riding.
Overall, this is a great riding shirt that combines style, comfort, and durability. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality motorcycle gear. Daniel Smart MFG has earned a loyal customer in me — I’ll definitely be back for more!

This is a great product at a steeper price. The canvas is thick, but pliable. It is finished in a bold black. The sleeves are hooped with reflective material. The fit I found to be snug. I ordered and received a Large, I imagined this riding shirt going over a tank top for the summer days and nights in FL. This will definitely fit a tank top or t-shirt underneath, but if you are looking to layer in the colder months or regions, you definitely have to go bigger. The sleeves are pretty tight as well. If you are packing pythons, this riding shirt might not be for you because of the sleeves. I am 5'10 and 190. Fit, but not a gym rat by any stretch of the imagination. So, if you lift religiously, it's going to be really tight in the sleeves. The liner, which is finished in a white and black paisley, is sewn into the shacket. No zippered liner. Also, it looks like there should be pockets for armour but I am not seeing a way to get to them. I did sustain (from three rounds with a pitbull who had mauled its owner) a massive laceration on my left hand and dislocated right shoulder, right before I received this riding shirt, so I am hopped up on motrin and swollen. Not sure if the super doses of motrin also made me mentally inept, but this is what I found thus far. I have not been able to ride this shirt on any of my machines, but I am looking forward to getting healed up and seeing how it holds up.

Excellent quality and I recommend this. My only question is about the tag you include with the care instructions that says “Built in body armor pockets included. *ask for details”. I don’t see anything in the description that says a thing about this , so I am asking. Whats up with the armor?

This is my favorite canvas riding jacket. The sleeves are reflective and are cool looking. Jacket is great quality. It's great for fall weather in new england.

Just got it in yesterday and have only worn it once, so I can't speak to durability yet. Material is thick, and with the lining it's more of a jacket than a shirt. The arm stripes are highly reflective. Fit is perfect- I'm 5'8 150 lbs, and a medium is loose enough I could put a hoodie under it, but not overly bulky. Now, the downside. It might be because it's still new, but the material is stiff and doesn't seem to breathe, it's like wearing a waxed canvas tarp. I hope it "breaks in" with time. Lastly, the sleeve stripes are not white- they're gray. Still looks good, but I was expecting white stripes.
